What does the free AI journal include?
The ongoing Free plan has usage limits. For the first seven days after signup, one entry per day receives full companion replies and deep analysis. After that, Free returns to shallow analysis and up to two comments on that analyzed entry. Chat, goals, and custom companions keep their Free limits throughout the introductory period.

How does companion memory work?
Recent diary context and relevant-history retrieval are different. Free uses a seven-day recent context window; Premium uses thirty days and retrieves more relevant material. Relevant older entries may also be retrieved. A response uses selected context, not every entry in your archive. The thirty-day Insights reporting window is separate from chat context.

Can I cancel and keep my writing?
Cancel in Settings → Billing. Monthly access lasts until the paid month ends; yearly cancellation stops the next renewal and access lasts until the paid year ends. Your account can continue on Free. Export your writing or delete your account from Settings. See the Terms of Service for the governing terms.
Does paying change the privacy promise?
No. DiraX does not use your journal to train AI models on either plan. Entries are encrypted in transit and in the database; the product is not end-to-end encrypted. AI features require processing by model providers. Read the AI journaling privacy guide and Privacy Policy.
