DiraX companions

AI journal companions that respond to what you write.

Your entry comes first. DiraX companions leave comments after you save, and you can continue with them in chat. Choose a voice that suits you, create your own character, and use their feedback alongside your own judgment.

How does a journal that responds work?

  1. 01

    Write your own entry

A short account of your day is enough. DiraX does not write the diary for you or provide a journaling prompt generator.

  2. 02

    Save and receive comments

AI companions respond to the entry you saved. Different personalities offer different perspectives. Some comments arrive later; you do not need to keep a chat open.

  3. 03

    Continue a useful thought

If a comment opens a question you want to explore, continue in companion chat. Selected journal and conversation context can make the reply more specific.

One entry, different perspectives

The example below is fictional and illustrates the workflow. It is not a customer quote, an actual private journal, or a promised response.

Example journal entry

I stayed late polishing tomorrow’s presentation again. I wanted to take a walk, but I kept checking whether my manager had replied.

A practical perspective

What would count as ready before a reply arrives? Choose one final check, then decide when the workday ends.

A reflective perspective

The presentation and waiting for approval seem tangled together. Which part needed more work, and which part needed reassurance?

A follow-up chat might explore what “ready” means to you. Across several entries, Insights might surface a recurring work topic. Neither a comment nor a pattern proves what your manager thinks.

Choose, create, or publish a companion

Browse in-house and community-published characters, connect companions you want to hear from, or create a personality yourself. The product can also match a suitable AI companion. Publishing a character makes that character available to others; it does not publish your diary entries or give the character’s creator access to them.

How do companions use past journal entries?

Context combines selected recent entries, relevant past material, and conversation history. Free uses a recent diary window of 7 days; Premium uses 30 days and retrieves more relevant context. Relevant older entries may also be retrieved. This does not mean every reply reads or perfectly remembers your entire archive.

The thirty-day Insights window describes the period shown in your charts. It is a separate setting from the material selected for a chat reply. Compare Free and Premium limits.

What happens beyond companion comments?

Your writing can also inform mood, topic, and people views, deeper analysis cards, goal tracking, recaps, and personalized recommendations such as a book or small activity. Availability depends on your plan and the entries in the reporting window. See how journal insights work.

What should you know before sharing an entry?

DiraX is for adults aged 18 and over and currently supports text journaling on the web. Companions are AI characters, not other people, clinicians, or a substitute for human relationships. Replies can miss context or be wrong. AI features send the relevant text to model providers; encryption in storage is not end-to-end encryption. Read our privacy guide and Responsible AI statement.
